Pathaan On OTT: Shah Rukh Khan's Action Blockbuster Breaks New Record On OTT Platform With 12 Hours Of Release
Pathaan on OTT: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has been away from the silver screen for about four years, returned with Pathaan. The movie created waves across borders by breaking several box office records. Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles, Pathan went on to collect Rs 1000 crore and counting worldwide. Helmed by Sidharth Anand and backed by YRF, Pathaan was dropped on OTT giant Amazon Prime Video on March 22, 2023.

The film was released with an extended version on the streaming platform. And now, after making ripples at the box office and adding many firsts to its credit. The spy thriller is now breaking records on OTT within 12 hours of its release. Pathaan became the fastest Hindi film to enter the coveted 200, 300, 400, and 500 crore clubs.
It also completed a glorious 50-day run in theatres. Pathaan was released on the OTT platform after three months of its release and has now entered the global charts of the top trending movies. Pathaan was released in theatres on January 25 and collected Rs. 100 crore worldwide on its first day.
Within 12 hours of its premiere on Amazon Prime, Pathaan is ranking No. 1 in the Top 10 Indian Content List. It has left behind films like Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam, Christopher, and Vijay's Varisu. Besides this, Pathaan has also made his entry into the top 10 global list.
PATHAAN BOX OFFICE RECORDS
Shah Rukh Khan's comeback movie Pathaan, which was one of the most anticipated movies of 2023, went on to break multiple box office records. Pathaan set a record for the biggest opening weekend for a Hindi film. It grossed Rs 540 crore worldwide in its five-day extended opening weekend. On the other hand, the movie also became the highest-opening Hindi flick in North America. It minted USD 9.48 million in its extended five-day weekend.
