Sanah Kapur On Working With ‘Maasi’ Ratna Pathak Shah In Happy Family: Conditions Apply: There Was Pressure

Pankaj Kapur's daughter Sanah Kapur has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs these days courtesy of her recent release Happy Family: Conditions Apply. Helmed by Jamnadas Majethia and Aatish Kapadia, the comedy family drama also stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Raj Babbar, Atul Kulkarni, Ayesha Jhulka, etc in key roles and has been receiving rave reviews from the audience and critics. Interestingly, Happy Family: Conditions Apply marks Sanah's first collaboration with her maasi Ratna Pathak Shah and the young actress has been all praises of her.

So when Sanah was quizzed about her experience of working with Ratna, she admitted feeling some pressure. However, the Shaandaar actress also stated that overall it was a fun experience and that she got to learn a lot from her. "While working with my Maasi, I had to take on yet another family member challenge. It was, to be honest, really exciting and entertaining, but there was pressure. She works in a completely different manner and follows a distinct format. She takes on an entirely different persona when she acts, and I learned a lot from her. She has always been the one with so much love, just like every other maasi, and our relationship has been as relatable as anybody else's. I mean, all maasis are like your mother, but they are much friendlier and less controlling," she added.

Furthermore, Sanah also asserted that Ratna is quite professional when it comes to work and made sure to treat all the co-stars as equals. "I never felt like I was related to her on sets", she added. Sanah further emphasised that working with the senior actress was a fun experience for her.

Earlier, Raj Babbar, who was seen playing the role of Mansukhlal Dholakia, was seen heaping praises for his character. Talking about the same, the senior actor stated that his character is a man of few words who communicates well with the audience. "He is funny and has an aura at the same time," he added.
