OTT's most-awaited period drama series, Taj: Divided By Blood, a period-drama series featuring Naseeruddin Shah, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aashim Gulati, Taaha Shah, and Shubham Kumar Mehta, was dropped on Zee5 on March 3. The series recounts the tumultuous events of a bygone era in India that marked a cutthroat struggle to acquire power through deceitful betrayals and bloodshed. The series shows an insatiable desire for control over others and the ruthless politics that were prevalent in those times, which even tore blood-related siblings apart.

The story of the drama series revolves around love that wants to triumph over a corrupt and decaying dynasty that has been consumed by ego and conspiracy. Such strong stories make for an ambitious project for any platform and an exciting watch for the viewers. Helmed by Ron Scalpello Taj: Divided By Blood depicts the downfall of the Mughal empire.
