The Great Indian Family OTT Release: After entertaining the audiences in theaters, the highly-awaited family entertainer, The Great Indian Family, starring Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar, is all set for its global OTT premiere.

Produced under the Yash Raj Films banner by Aditya Chopra and helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film is a perfect blend of humor, drama, and heartfelt moments and boasts a stellar supporting cast including Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Bhuvan Arora, and Alka Amin in pivotal roles.

The film which was released in theaters on 22 September 2023, is all set to make its OTT debut within two months of its official release in theaters. Audiences worldwide can catch the family-centric drama from the comfort of their homes exclusively on Prime Video, starting today, ie., 17 November 2023.

ABOUT THE GREAT INDIAN FAMILY

Set against the backdrop of Balrampur, the film revolves around the Tripathi family, known for their legacy as the foremost priestly lineage in the area. At the heart of the tale is Bhajan Kumar, played by Vicky Kaushal, a devout Hindu man known for his enchanting bhajans and lighthearted moments with friends.

However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon revelations about his roots, which leads to an identity crisis and a personal dilemma.

Talking about the film, Vicky Kaushal told DNA, "Before the release, even the makers and stakeholders were worried about the fate of the film. Sabhi wohi baat kar rahe they ki 'chhoti filmon ka chance nahi hai. OTT pe hi chalegi' (Everyone was saying that there is no chance for small films, they will only work on OTT). But the audience has brought the change, they came to theatres, enjoyed the film, and shocked everybody."
