Bollywood playback singer Aditi Paul has once again lent her voice to Sonakshi Sinha in the horror comedy film 'Kakuda.' The new romantic track, 'Shukra Guzar,' features Sonakshi and Saqib Saleem. Composed by Gulraj Singh, who also sings the duet with Aditi, the song has been released by Zee Music.

Gulraj Singh's Composition

Aditi expressed her admiration for the composition of 'Shukra Guzar.' "I fell in love with the composition as well as the lyrics, the moment I heard it for the first time. Gulraj is an amazingly talented musician himself. The lyrics are so cute. It's written beautifully by Manoj Yadav. The lyrics and the composition complement each other so well," she said.

The film 'Kakuda,' directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, also stars Riteish Deshmukh. This project marks another collaboration between Aditi and Sonakshi after their previous work in 'Lingaa,' where Aditi sang a song composed by AR Rahman.

Aditi Paul's Versatility

Aditi Paul is known for her versatility in playback singing. She became widely recognised after providing vocals for Deepika Padukone in 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.’ When asked which actress suits her voice best, Aditi responded thoughtfully. "Honestly, I don't think about these things. My job is to learn the song and sing it. But I always ask about the situation and the background, so that I can emote accordingly," she said.

Born in Kolkata, Aditi has sung in multiple languages and genres. She was a contestant on Indian Idol Season 1 and has delivered memorable performances like 'Veeron ke Veer Aa' from 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.'

Artificial Intelligence in Music

When questioned about Artificial Intelligence potentially replacing singers, Aditi shared her perspective. "Yes it can be… but I also think that AI can replace only a vocal texture but when it comes to emotions, it has to have the human touch. And I'm sure we will also learn to use AI diligently in the coming years," she stated.

Aditi is currently working on several independent projects and plans to release a new song next month. "In fact, I'll be releasing an independent song next month. It's one of my compositions," she revealed.

This latest track from 'Kakuda' adds another feather to Aditi's cap as she continues to charm audiences with her melodious voice and emotional depth.
