Alien: Romulus OTT Release Date, Platform Updates: The much-loved 'Alien' franchise is back with its latest installment - Alien: Romulus. Alien: Romulus, produced by Scott Free Productions and Brandywine Productions, marks the ninth installment in the Alien franchise, which is set between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986). The latest Alien flick stars Cailee Spaeny as Rain, David Jonsson as Andy, Archie Renaux as Tyler, Isabela Merced as Kay, Spike Fearn as Bjorn, and Aileen Wu as Navarro.

"'Alien: Romulus' takes the phenomenally successful "Alien" franchise back to its roots: While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe," the official synopsis reads.

Alien: Romulus OTT Release: When & Where To Watch After Theatrical Run?

According to a report by Forbes, Alien: Romulus will be first available on digital streaming by premium video on demand (PVOD) on platforms like Prime Video, AppleTV+ and VUDU. Being a 20th Century Studios release, Alien: Romulus is expected to follow the 60-day-gap between theatrical release and OTT premiere, which is similar to Disney.

The horror sci-fi thriller was released on OTT in November 21, 2024 on Disney+ Hotstar.

According to Sacnilk, Alien: Romulus opened to a box office collection of Rs 83 lakhs (including all languages). The film reportedly earned around Rs 1.25 cr on Saturday, taking the total collection to Rs 2.08 cr in two days.
