"All We Imagine as Light" Oscar Selection and Release Updates: All We Imagine as Light, a 2024 drama written and directed by Payal Kapadia, is making waves internationally. The film, featuring Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam, and Hridhu Haroon, is a multinational coproduction with involvement from France, India, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Italy.

The film had its world premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on May 23, 2024, where it made history as the first Indian film to compete in the main competition since 1994. It went on to win the prestigious Grand Prix award.

The film follows Prabha and Anu, two Malayali nurses living in Mumbai, who are struggling with personal relationship issues. They embark on a road trip to a beach town, where a mystical forest becomes the backdrop for their dreams to take shape.
