Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz starred Vicky Kaushal as the dashing Akshil Chadha, Animal fame Triptii Dimri as Saloni Bagga and Punjabi star Ammy Virk as the bibba mund Gurbir Pannu in lead along with Neha Dhupia, Sheeba Chaddha and Faisal Rashid among others in key roles.

The dramedy revolves around the concept of 'heteropaternal superfecundation'. The synopsis of the film read, "A twist of fate leads to Saloni Bagga's twin pregnancy being fathered by both Akhil Chaddha and Gurbir Pannu, setting off a chaotic rivalry for her love and their children. As Akhil and Gurbir fight for Slaoni's affectios, chaos ensues."

Bad Newz is now apparently streaming now on Prime Video. The movie had its OTT premiere on the said streaming platform today (August 30). However, it's not for free. You will have to rent the movie from Amazon Store at Rs 349 to access it.

The film is soon expected to be available for free on Prime Video.

The Vicky Kaushal starrer did a decent performance well at the box office. Made on an estimated budget of Rs 80 cr, the movie grossed over ₹115.74 crore worldwide at the box office.
