How To Watch Barzakh Episode 2: Fawad Khan, who has been the most talked about Pakistani actor, is all over the headlines and rightfully so. After all, he has made a comeback after a hiatus of two years with Asim Abbasi's recently released drama series Barzakh wherein he plays the role of Shehryar. The series also features Sanam Saeed (as Scheherezade) and Salman Shahid in the lead and happens to be a supernatural fantasy drama. To note, Barzakh marks Fawad's reunion with Sanam after 12 years. They were last seen in Zindagi Gulzar Hai in 2012.

To note, Barzakh addresses mental health, postpartum depression, generational trauma, and gender inclusivity and has grabbed a lot of eyeballs. In fact, the trailer gave a glimpse of the story of a 76-year-old man who wants to marry the ghost of his long dead first love. While fans have been eagerly waiting for Fawad and Sanam's reunion, the actress has confirmed that the two will be collaborating for two more projects for Netflix and Sony LIV respectively. "If the audience doesn't like us in one role, they might like us in another. However, this [Barzakh] one was the first one that cast us together, not based on 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai' but based purely on our acting chops. And I hope that audiences take this character and this dynamic well," she was quoted saying to India Today.
