BRIDGERTON SEASON 3 PART 1 PLOT, CAST, AND OTHER DETAILS
Bridgerton, a historical romance television series developed by Chris Van Dusen, made its debut in the United States and marks Shondaland's inaugural scripted series for Netflix. Based on Julia Quinn's novels, the narrative chronicles the journey of the titular family as they navigate the competitive realm of Regency-era London's aristocracy and the eligible young nobles during the social season of the early 1800s.
Continuing the tradition of each season focusing on a Bridgerton family member, Season 3 will explore the love story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. Penelope, having moved on from her crush on Colin, is determined to find a husband who offers her independence. Meanwhile, Colin returns with newfound confidence and aims to rekindle their friendship by mentoring Penelope. However, as their feelings deepen, a complex dynamic unfolds.
As fans bid farewell to Phoebe Dynevor's portrayal of Daphne, the upcoming season will see the return of several key cast members including Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, and Julie Andrews as the voice of Lady Whistledown among others.
Additionally, three new characters will be introduced - Marcus (Daniel Francis), Lord Debling (Sam Phillips), and Harry Dankworth (James Phoon).
