Call Me Bae Twitter Review: Ananya Panday made the headlines lately after her new series was announced. We are talking about Call Me Bae which is an 8-episode comedy drama. Helmed by Colin D'Cunha, Call Me Bae features Ananya in the titular role of Bella 'Bae' Chowdhary (played by Ananya) and grabbed eyeballs with its intriguing trailer. Written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair, the series also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur in the lead.

Interestingly, Call Me Bae marks Ananya's first release of the year and the comedy drama series released on Prime Video on September 6. Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, a user called it as Ananya Panday's best performance and tweeted, "Ananya Pandey is too good in emotional scenes. Call me bae is clearly her best. Totally binged watched worthy. #CallMeBae #AnanyaPanday". Another user is already looking forward to the second installment of the series and wrote, "@ananyapandayy you totally killed it with #CallMeBaeOnPrime you are truly on the path of being the next superstar. Hoping for #CallMeBae part 2".
On the other hand, a section of the audience, didn't seem much pleased with the series as well. A user tweeted, "Watched #CallMeBae episode 1. So been there done that. So artificial. BORING."
Meanwhile, talking about playing the role of Bae in Call Me Bae, Ananya told ETimes, "It was nice to look at the world through Bae's eyes , because I think we get too caught up in 'this is wrong and that is wrong' ..what is that one saying about me and we focus so much on the negativity. So when you get to pay someone like Bae, she's always looking for the good in people. The characters that I have played earlier had ulterior motives, they are thinking something but doing something else, but Bae, whatever she's feeling, she's saying".
