Citadel Honey Bunny: In 2023, Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden were seen in an Amazon Prime Series titled Citadel. Russo Brothers were the executive producers of the show, and later it was revealed that there will be multiple spin-offs of the series set in different countries. Raj & DK were roped in to direct the Indian spin-off titled Citadel Honey Bunny, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan were cast as the leads.

Now, Citadel Honey Bunny is ready to premiere soon, and in the trailer it is revealed that Varun and Samantha, play the role of Nadia's (Priyanka) parents in the series. Filmibeat recently interacted with Raj & DK, and when asked them if they planned to cast Priyanka in the show as there's this mother-daughter connection, Raj said, "We wrote 2-3 drafts of this story, before we settled on this one. In of the earlier drafts, she was there in the story; it was like an interesting parallel cut story. But, Covid kind of messed up a lot of plans. We were supposed to shoot her segment first, somewhere in Europe."

"But, we weren't ready and the whole plans were delayed. We wrote another draft completely not going in that direction. So yes, there were ideas earlier," he added.

Citadel Honey Bunny Release Date

The trailer of Citadel Honey Bunny was released a few days ago at a grand event in Mumbai. It has received a good response, and fans of Varun and Samantha are excited about it. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 7th November 2024.

A few days ago, the Italian series, Citadel: Diana, premiered on Amazon Prime Video. The series features Matilda De Angelis. Citadel starring Priyanka and Richard had received mixed reviews from the critics, but Citadel: Diana got good reviews. Now, all eyes on Citadel Honey Bunny.
