The project, directed by Raj & DK, is originally headlined by Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. Well, according to a report by Siasat, it is believed that the actress has increased her fees for the series and it now stands at Rs. 10 crore. However, the makers or the actress haven't confirmed anything about the same.

For the unversed, Citadel: Honey Bunny is an Indian spy series where Samantha and Varun portray the characters of spies, named, Honey and Bunny.

At the teaser launch, Samantha opened up about working with Varun Dhawan and said, "All he thinks about from the moment he wakes up is how to improve his craft. He's constantly focused on how to perform each scene better. Not only is he dedicated to his work, but he's also one of the nicest human beings I've ever met."

She further added, "His wonderful sense of humor and positive attitude make sure everyone on set is happy. He's always smiling, ensuring that there's never a rough day for anyone around him. In 'Citadel,' he has brought a completely new vision to his role, particularly in the action scenes, showcasing a fresh and unique approach."
