After winning hearts with her cameo in Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri's Bad Newz and her OTT debut with Call Me Bae, the diva is back in the headlines and this time for her upcoming release. We are talking about CTRL which is a thriller drama which is helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane. Produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya Menon, CTRL also features Vihaan Samat, Devika Vatsa, Suchita Trivedi, Ravish Desai, Aparshakti Khurana etc in key roles.

For the uninitiated, CTRL revolves around a Gen-Z couple Joe Mascarenhas and Nella Awasthi who are popular as social media influencers and their life is all about their social media. However, as Joe (played by Vihaan) cheats on Nella (played by Ananya), she takes help from an AI app to erase him from her life. But things take an ugly turn as the AI app takes control and Joe goes missing. The trailer itself had managed to send chills down the spine making it an intriguing and anticipated watch.

Meanwhile, Ananya made headlines as she opened up about suffering from imposter syndrome. During an interview with News18 Showsha, she sated, "My imposter syndrome comes from something as simple as when someone says my name. During interviews and stuff, I feel like my name isn't really mine, and it makes me feel like a third person. That pushes me to suddenly become like someone else. When I see myself on a billboard, I feel like it's not me that I'm looking at. The same thing happens when I watch one of my films. I watch them like an audience member and forget that it's actually me on screen".
