Do Patti First Review: Remember when Kajol and Kriti Sanon collaborated for the first time in Rohit Shetty's Dilwale? The ladies have once again collaborated for their second project and the fans can't keep calm. We are talking about Do Patti which is a romantic thriller and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The movie also features Shaheer Sheikh in the lead as he makes his big Bollywood debut. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, Do Patti is written by Kanika Dhillon and marks Kriti's maiden production.

For the uninitiated, Do Patti features Kajol in the role of a cop for the first time as she investigates a twisting story of twin sisters which has left everyone intrigued. To note, Kriti is seen playing a double role for the first time and will be seen romancing the television heartthrob Shaheer in the film. As several celebs have attended the special screening of Do Patti, the social media is abuzz with celebs going gaga about the movie. Taking to the Instagram story, Mukesh Chhabra stated, "I watched Do Patti last night. @kritisanon did a fantastic job in her double role as twins and both her performances were exceptional. With each film, her acting is becoming more mature and professional. And @kajol as always powerful performance. This one will have an emotional impact; it addresses an important issue and is an important film. I'm so happy for everyone involved, especially @shaheersheikh welcome to Bollywood brother".

On the other hand, Laapata Ladies actress Nitanshi Goel wrote, "What an exciting watch #DoPatti! @kajol mam and @kritisanon mam are absolutely brilliant together. Big Congratulations @kanika.d ma. Loved every bit of it!". Avinash Gowarikar also wrote, "Edgy & twisty film!! Super performances @kritisanon is superb... @Kajol outstanding as always". On the other hand, film critic Sreedhar Pillai tweeted, "#DoPatti is simply what we call an engaging story with stellar performance by the cast. It's a story of twin sisters, perfectly played by #KritiSanon, harbor deep secrets and a determined police inspector, played by #Kajol, seeks to uncover the truth in an attempted murder case! With the film, you can expect a sibling rivalry, with grey and layered characters, keeps you engaged throughout, especially as the tension builds toward the climax" and gave the movie a rating of 3.5 out of 5.

Kriti Sanon On Playing Double Role In Do Patti

Meanwhile, Kriti is quite excited about Do Patti and stated that playing the role of twin sisters was quite challenging for her. "A double role in this film is very different. Dushman had scenes but not as many of them together. The two sisters were seen less together in the movie. But in Do Patti, the two sisters are together for 70 per cent of the film. So for her, it's a very technically challenging aspect of playing a double role. You're playing two characters. You are reacting to yourself... And everything has to be just perfect. She rose up to the challenge quite wonderfully," the actress was quoted saying.
