Varun Sood is enjoying a breakthrough year in 2024, with four notable releases that have left an indelible mark on his career. From the release of his fiction shows Karmma Calling, Naam Namak Nishan and now Call Me Bae alongside Ananya Panday, to his upcoming hosting gig on the show Reality Ranis of the Jungle, the actor is receiving immense love for his work. Reflecting on this phase, Varun opens up about how these projects have contributed to his growth as an artist.

When asked how these releases have shaped his career, Varun says, "It's a feeling that I can't put into words. But all I want to say is that I am a lot more motivated for future projects, and I feel a new kind of fire in me to get better at what I do and to entertain people with my work." Varun also shared insights into his process of selecting projects, says, "I pick a project if I resonate with it. It should make me think, put a smile on my face, and make me feel multiple emotions. A project should just feel right."

On how his 2024 releases have contributed to his growth, Varun emphasises the diversity of the roles he's taken on. "I had 3 fiction shows that were released. All 3 did very, very well. All 3 characters were widely loved by the audience. And all 3 characters were very different from one another. So I hope this results in more work and different characters in the future."

Varun will also venture into the non-fiction space this year with his upcoming hosting gig for Reality Ranis of the Jungle. "In the non-fiction department, I got to host one of the biggest international shows in the world that has its Indian version now. And I hope people enjoy me as a host too."

With such a dynamic year behind him, Varun Sood continues to prove that he's a force to be assumed within both fiction and non-fiction spaces, setting the stage for even greater success in the future.
