Fighter OTT Release Date Update: After the success of Bang Bang and War, filmmaker Siddharth Anand reunited with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan for his latest directorial venture Fighter. Touted as the first aerial-actioner, it revolves around a group of Air Force officers who fight against the enemies of the country.
Featuring Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover, and a remarkable ensemble, Fighter made a spectacular entrance on January 25, heralding the blockbuster season of 2024. Strategically launched during the Republic Day weekend, the film has garnered acclaim from both critics and viewers alike since its premiere just five days ago.

Even before the theatrical release of Fighter, a major OTT platform had already secured its digital rights at a substantial cost. Recent reports confirm that Netflix has obtained the OTT rights for Siddharth Anand's film Fighter, although the exact sum remains undisclosed.
As of now, the OTT release date for Fighter has not been disclosed. However, several reports suggest that the film is likely to stream on Netflix in the last week of March, around the festive weekend of Holi. Yes, you read that right! However, an official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited.
FIGHTER BUDGET, BOX OFFICE UPDATE, AND TARGET
For those who are unaware, Fighter has been made on a huge budget of Rs 250 crore. In order for the film to achieve blockbuster status, it must surpass the Rs 500 crore mark in terms of box office earnings. Talking about the box office performance of Fighter so far, it packed an impressive total in its extended weekend with a domestic collection of Rs 123.60 crore and entered Rs 200 crore worldwide after collecting Rs 208.25 crore in just four days of its release.
Interestingly, Fighter also marks Deepika Padukone's third collaboration with director Siddharth Anand. The duo first worked together in the 2008 hit Bachna Ae Haseeno. Last year, they teamed up again for Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role. Both the films turned out to be successful at the box office and they will hopefully complete a hattrick with Fighter.
