Godzilla Minus One OTT Release Date: Godzilla Minus One has been one of the biggest releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. The movie was a Japanese epic kaiju release in 2023 which was directed in Takashi Yamazaki. It is the 37th film in the Godzilla franchise. Starring Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, Sakura Ando and Kuranosuke Sasaki.

Godzilla Minus One was set in postwar Japan and followed a former kamikaze pilot suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after encountering a giant monster known as Godzilla. The movie managed to create massive buzz at the international box office, the Indian fans have been eagerly waiting for its digital release here.

Godzilla Minus One OTT Release Date

After setting the international box office on fire, there has been a massive buzz about OTT release for Godzilla Minus One. To note, the movie had its OTT release on May 3 on Prime Video. However, it was limited for viewers in Japan. According to media reports, with Prime Video having the digital rights for Godzilla Minus One, the movie is expected to release in the month of May. However, an official announcement in this regard is yet to be made.

To note, Godzilla Minus One won an Oscars this year in the visual effects category. The movie made a worldwide box office earnings of around $107 million.

Earlier talking about director Takashi Yamazaki revealed that he was approached for the movie several times. He told Deadline, "I had been approached several times but turned it down until my team's technology was capable of expressing the Godzilla I had envisioned. After seeing Shin Godzilla, my motivation increased, and my technology evolved considerably. I was once again formally approached and decided to give it a try".
