Following the success of Godzilla vs Kong during the COVID-19 pandemic, Legendary announced its sequel - Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire - in March 2022. The film marks the fifth installment in the Monsterverse franchise and also serves as the 38th film of the Godzilla franchise and 13th in the King Kong franchise.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire features Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry and Kaylee Hottl reprising their roles from the previous film along with Dan Stevens, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen in important roles.

In this sci-fi actioner, Kong encounters more of his species in the Hollow Earth and must unite again with Godzilla to stop the tyrannical Skar King and the powerful, frost-breathing Shimo from invading the Earth's surface.

After 5 months of theatrical release, Godzilla x Kong is finally arriving on OTT. The film is all set to release exclusively on JioCinema Premium on 29th August 2024. The movie wil be available in 7 languages - English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi.

For those unversed, the film was already available on Prime Video on rent.
