Exclusive! Gullak 4 Actor Harsh Mayar On Being A National Award Winner, "You Don't Get Work..."

Gullak 4: One of the most loved shows Gullak season 1 was premiered in 2019. The series received a great response, and later, the makers came with season 2 and season 3. Well, just a few days ago, season 4 of the series started streaming on Sony Liv. Gullak stars Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Harsh Mayar in the lead roles.

Filmibeat recently interacted with Harsh and for the uninitiated, let us tell you that he is a National Award winner. For his performance in I Am Kalam, he had won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist.

He was a child when he won that award, so when we asked him how does he feel to hear now that he is a National Award winner, Harsh said, "It feels good because awards are an honour for you. But, a lot of people think that as he is an award winner that's why he is getting so much prominent work. Now, I have worked for the past so many years, so I get work on that merit, however, you don't get work on the basis of the awards. It is also a responsibility that he will do it well, so that is there in mind sometimes that it's a responsibility."

Gullak Season 5 To Happen Soon?

Further talking about Gullak season 5, Harsh revealed, "There are plans, but I cannot tell you more about it because even I don't know much about it. We have been told that we will at least do five seasons. But, let's see, right now, let the audience enjoy this season. A lot of hard work goes into making the show."

Apart from Gullak and I Am Kalam, Harsh is also known for his performance in Rani Mukerji starrer Hichki which was released in 2018.
