Gullak Season 4 Review

TVF's Gullak has defied the odds by maintaining its charm and authenticity throughout its seasons, unlike many other Indian series that lose steam over time. With Gullak Season 4, prepare to be enraptured once again, as it seamlessly continues the legacy. The storyline is simple yet very touching. In each season, we have witnessed Mishra family growing with the passing time, however, one thing that remains same in their life is the simplicity. In Gullak Season 4, witness Annu's coming-of-age journey, as he grapples with the complexities of adolescence and asserts his independence against his parents' wishes.

Things goes out of hand in Mishra family when Aman is caught with a girl at a cafe. This is not it! The discovery of a love letter adds fuel to the fire, sparking a chain of events that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats throughout the series. But, was that love letter his? That you will know after watching the whole series. But this love letter will give him his first "thappad" from a beloved family member but at the same time it will bring him closer to his brother. Similar to all the previous season, ending happens in a very satisfying way. But, a lot of questions linger in this season. Will Mishra family leave their house an shift to a flat? Will Annu's love life get a kick? Will Aman confess that he has a crush over Aditi?

Gullak Season 4: A New Entry

Helly Shah is the added member in Gullak Season 4. Besides her, the new season features the old casts, Jameel Khan as Santosh Mishra, Geetanjali Kulkarni as Shanti Mishra, Vaibhav Raj Gupta as Anand Mishra (Annu), and Harsh Mayar as Aman Mishra.

Will There Be Gullak Season 5?

From the ending of Gullak Season 4 it seems that there are chances of more seasons ahead. If the new season happens, there are chances that we will get to witness Aman's possible love story with Dr. Preeti (Helly Shah). Moreover, we could see Aman facing his heartbreak after he confesses his love for Aditi. We might also see Mishra family selling their old house and buying a flat. It will be intriguing to see how they settle into a different lifestyle if they buy a flat.

Gullak Season 4: Final Verdict

Gullak Season 4 gets 3.5/5 stars. The storyline is beautiful. It moves with a slow pace. The story is not about action, thrill or twists and turns, instead, it is about simple lifestyle of a middle class family that many will relate to. But, if you always belonged to a rich class, then you may skip the show as it won't feel relatable.
