Gyaarah Gyaarah OTT Release EXCLUSIVE: Dhairya Karwa On Challenges He Faced In Playing Shaurya

Gyaarah Gyaarah OTT Release: If you love fantasy thriller, Gyaarah Gyaarah promises to satisfy your taste buds. The web series, which is the adaptation of Korean drama Signal, has been trending on social media ever since the trailer was released.

Dhairya Karwa, who will be seen as Shaurya in the series, recently interacted with Filmibeat and spilled the beans on his character and the challenges associated with the role.

Here are the excerpts from the interview-

Take us through the journey of your character. We have seen that Shaurya Anthwal and Yug Arya have different methods of approaching mysteries. How are they similar and yet different?

Shaurya's approach to solving mysteries is very different from Yug's. Shaurya is impulsive and acts first, then thinks. Yug, on the other hand, thinks through everything before acting. Shaurya doesn't hesitate to throw a punch if things don't go his way, while Yug prefers to talk things out and use his sharp intellect. Despite their different approaches, they complement each other because they are both righteous, honest, and driven to serve justice. They have the right intentions at heart, which makes them perfect partners."

What was the most challenging aspect of playing a role in a series which spanned different periods? Did you have to bring in new aspects for each era? If you can share if there was a specific aspect of your character which you found particularly challenging or rewarding to portray?

Capturing and understanding the evolution of Shaurya was essential. When he starts out, he's very naive and optimistic, but through the journey, he goes through life-changing and hard experiences. This hardens him, making him more skeptical. His thought process, immediate reactions, physicality, and even his voice change. These were the aspects I had to be mindful of to accurately portray Shaurya's evolution. Portraying Shaurya has been an absolute joy and a creatively fulfilling experience. While challenging, it was also rewarding because Shaurya is such a full-of-life character who doesn't shy away from his emotions. He's emotional, instinctive, impulsive, and physical. Bringing Shaurya to life and portraying him on screen has been amazing. Shaurya is definitely my favorite character to date."

Gyaarah Gyaarah will be available for streaming on ZEE5 from Friday (August 9). The web series will premiere this week on the leading OTT platform.
