Heeramandi Release Time: Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one of the ace filmmakers in the industry who has given us several iconic films. And now, he is making headlines for his upcoming directorial which is all set to release soon. We are talking about Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar which is a period drama based on the lives of tawaifs at the red-light district of Heera Mandi in Lahore during the Indian independence movement against the British Raj.

The period drama features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal in the lead. From the teaser to the trailer, cast and songs, everything has left the fans excited about Heeramandi. In fact, the recent special screening of Heeramandi left the celebs in absolute awe.

And while Heeramandi is set to release today (May 1), there have been speculations about the release time of the movie. To note, Heeramandi will be out after noon on May 1 at around 1:30 p.m and is expected to be a grand release.

Meanwhile, talking about his role in the film, Fardeen Khan earlier stated, "Wali Mohammed embodies the essence of a nawab, always standing by the women of Heeramandi. Marking my Netflix debut with such a character feels like the perfect comeback to the screens".
