Richa Chadha detailed her intense preparation for 'Masoom Dil Hain Mera', highlighting choreography changes, the physical toll of a 40kg costume, and the emotional challenge of a pivotal scene. Her dedication and adaptability in facing these challenges have been widely praised.

Richa Chadha recently shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her journey while preparing for her song "Masoom Dil Hain Mera." Through social media, Richa revealed the extensive process involved—from rehearsals to the final shoot, which was significantly different from what was initially planned. She pointed out that the choreography by Kruti Mahesh underwent numerous changes on set, leaving only a fraction of the original moves in the final performance. "I can safely say that almost none of Kruti Mahesh's choreography remained the same. So I was grateful to have practiced to just be in the groove. This is one of the steps that remained. Rest well were winging it on set," Richa shared.
One of the most striking revelations from Richa's preparation was her wearing a 40kg vest during rehearsals. This was to acclimate to the heavy costume she would don during the actual performance, which also weighed 40kg. The physical toll of the shoot day was immense, leaving Richa in a state of tears and exhaustion. She disclosed that the most challenging part of her performance had to be executed in a single take. "Sir wanted me to perform the heartbroken part of the song in one go without any cuts. The camera had to pan 360 and I had to keep performing navigating the emotions, the camera and the dance. It was a super emotional day and it truly broke me down. But those tears came from a place of achievement," Richa explained.
The actress's portrayal and kathak performance have garnered widespread acclaim on the internet, with many surprised and impressed by Richa's new avatar. Actress Sophie Choudry and director Mira Nair were among the celebrities who praised her dedication and performance. Sophie Choudry remarked, "You have done a fabulous job on the show my darl! And that 360 shot of your last dance.. uff," indicating the impact of Richa's efforts on her peers. Mira Nair complimented Richa's spirit, saying, "Love your brave saucy spirit most of all."
Richa Chadha's journey from rehearsal to the screen highlights not only her dedication to her craft but also the unforeseen challenges artists often face. Her ability to adapt and deliver a compelling performance despite these hurdles showcases her professionalism and commitment to her role.
