Heeramandi: Shruti Sharma, Shekhar Suman & Indresh Malik Lauds Sharmin Segal's Performance In The Series

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar" has captivated audiences worldwide since its release on Netflix, earning widespread acclaim. The performance of the entire cast has been lauded, with particular praise for Sharmin Segal's portrayal of Alamzeb. Alongside the audience's adoration, Segal's co-stars, including Shruti Sharma, Shekhar Suman, and Indresh Malik, have also commended her work ethic and talent.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Shruti Sharma remarked, "I've seen her putting in her best effort on set, just like everyone else."

Shekhar Suman, interviewed by The Indian Express, praised Segal's portrayal as refreshing, noting that her portrayal captured the nuances of reticent individuals. "I found Sharmin's performance refreshing, because even in real life, there are people who are 'reticent' and 'hardly emote'."

"I had a blast working with her and she's a wonderful soul. In between shots, we used to joke and, mark my words, she'll go places. There have been masterpieces in history that the masses have rejected. After 10-15 years, people realise it's a masterpiece. But when it was made and released, people rejected it outright there and then. So everybody has the right to criticise. You cannot stop anybody from commenting or criticising. So it's all about your state of mind"
