Exclusive! Heeramandi: Abha Ranta Says, "I Would Love To Know What Manisha Ma'am Thinks About My Performance"

Heeramandi: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's OTT debut has been getting a good response from the audiences. The series stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sharmin Sehgal in the lead roles. Apart from the leads, the series also features many actors in important roles, and one of them is Abha Ranta. The actress portrays the role of the younger version of Mallika Jaan.

While of course Manisha Koirala is getting all the praises for her performance as Mallika Jaan, Abha has also grabbed everyone's attention with her act. Not many would know that, Abha is the sister of Laapataa Ladies actress Pratibha Ranta who also plays a pivotal role in the series.

Filmibeat recently interacted with Abha and spoke to her about the series and a lot more. When asked Abha if she got a chance to meet Manisha ma'am, the actress said, "No, because our timelines are very different. In fact, I wanted that I get a scene with my sister as well. So, as Manisha ma'am was my older version, I didn't meet her on set."

When asked if she met her at the premiere of the show and spoke to her, Abha said, "No, if I had worked with her then it would have been more ease for me to go and approach her and talk to her. But, I would love to know what she thinks about my performance, and if she feels I justified and was it up to what she expected. However, I didn't get a chance to talk to her."

Before becoming an actor, Abha has been a part of many advertisements, and has shared screen space with stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, and others. She also revealed that she was the first one to get the confirmation about Heeramandi, and later her sister Pratibha got the call.
