Inside Out 2 OTT Release Date, Platform Updates: Disney and Pixar's much-anticipated animated sequel is now running in theatres everywhere. Inside Out 2 - a sequel to the Academy Award-winning 2015 film of the same name - was first officially announced in September 2022. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, Inside Out 2 boats an impressive cast, featuring voices from Amy Poehler, Maya Hawk, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Ayo Edibiri and Kaitlyn Dias.

Inside Out 2 Box Office Collection In India

Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2 released in cinemas on 14th June 2024. The movie had its world premiere at the EI Captain Theatre in Los Angeles on June 10.

The movie had a decent opening at the box office in India. According to a report published by Sacnilk, the animated sequel minted Rs 1.50 cr (English - ₹1.25 cr; Hindi - ₹0.25 cr) on opening day. The movie witnessed an almost 76% jump on Saturday and collected around Rs 2.65 cr (English - ₹2.2 cr; Hindi - ₹0.45 cr). The total collection in India stands at approximately Rs 4.15 crores (English - ₹3.45 cr; Hindi - ₹0.7 cr) in two days.

While the official OTT release date is yet to be announced, it is said that Inside Out 2 will be available for online streaming on Disney+ nearly 100 days after its theatrical release.

According to a report by Collider, the animated sequel will have its OTT premiere on Disney+ in September 2022.

Inside Out 2 Cast & Emotions

Inside Out 2 has introduced four new emotions - Anxiety, Ennui, Embarrassment and Envy. For those unversed, Ennui is a French word that refers to existential boredom or dissatisfaction with life. In the previous season of the movie, we saw five emotions- Joy, Fear, Sadness, Anger, and Disgust. These five emotions are also there in the sequel.

The film features Edebiri as Envy, Tony Hale as Fear, Adele as Ennui, Liza as Disgust, Amy as Joy, Lewis ad Anger, and Paul Walter as Embarrassment. In the Hindi version, Ananya Panday has lent her voice to the lead character Railey.
