Kakuda Release Time: If you are a horror comedy fan, Zee5 is coming for a treat now. After the stupendous success of Abhay Verma and Sharvari starrer Munjya, director Aditya Sarpotdar is now coming up with his next horror comedy and the audience can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Kakuda which features Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem in the lead. It has been one of the most talked about releases of the year and has managed to create a buzz in the town with its intriguing trailer.

To note, Kakuda narrates the story of a newly wed couple Sunny and Indira (played by Saqib and Sonakshi respectively) from the village Ratodi who accidently encounter a curse from Kakuda on their wedding night. While Sunny's life is in danger following the curse, Indira seeks help from Victor, a ghost hunter (played by Riteish). As the horror comedy has managed to create a buzz in the town, there have been speculations about the release time of Kakuda.

Kakuda will be releasing on July 12 on Zee5. The horror comedy will reportedly premiere at midnight tonight.

Meanwhile, talking about Kakuda, Saqib told Zoom, "When I read the script, I felt like it's extremely funny on paper and the character was a simple guy from a village and I've never played a role like this. After reading the script, I went to meet Aditya. I thought he was a very confident guy who knew exactly what he wanted to do. So year, I read the script at night and the next day in the evening we were doing the film. I wouldn't call it a template horror comedy. I think the folklore of the ghosts makes it far more different from the other films. You may think that lots of horror comedies are there but when you watch, you'll find the differences"
