Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) OTT Release Date & Platform Deets: The wait is finally over. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer epic dystopian thriller releases globally in cinemas today (June 27) in 5 languages - Telugu, Hindi, Tami, Kannada and Malayalam. Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD promises to be a grand cinematic experience with the star-studded cast, pan-India appeal, state-of-the-art VFX and CGI effects.

Written-directed by Nag Ashwin and bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Kalki 2898 AD boasts an impressive ensemble consisting of several big names from the Indian film industry like Prabhas as Bhairava, Deepika Padukone as SUM-80, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama, Kamal Haasan as Yaskin and Disha Patani as Roxie.

The supporting cast includes Rajendra Prasad, Saswata Chatterjee, Brahmanandam, and Pasupathy among others. As per reports, the Sita Ramam couple Dulquer Salman-Mrunal Thakur made a cameo as Bhairava's parents in the film.

The Prabhas-Deepika Padukone starrer has been certified UA by the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) with a disclaimer in the beginning with a voice-over that the content of the film is fictional. The Hindi version of the film has a run time of 3 hours and 56 minutes.

According to reports, the Hindi OTT rights of Klaki 2898 AD have been acquired by the streaming giant Netflix at a whopping amount Rs 175 crores. As per latest buzz, the film is slated to have its OTT premiere on the said streaming platform nearly two months after its theatrical run, which is likely towards the end of August.

However, the official OTT release date is yet to be announced. In the meantime, you can watch the film this weekend in cinemas near you.
