According to previous reports, Netflix has acquired the OTT rights for Sriram Raghavan's film, Merry Christmas, for an impressive sum of Rs. 60 crores. Yes, you read that right!

As Merry Christmas has just hit the theatres, there's still no clarity on its OTT release date and time. However, it's likely to be released digitally in the next two-three months.

Merry Christmas marks the first collaboration among Sriram Raghavan, Katrina Kaif, and Vijay Sethupathi. While originally scheduled for release in December of this year, the film's release was postponed to January 2024.

For those who are unaware, Merry Christmas has two versions, one in Tamil and the other in Hindi, with each version showcasing a unique set of supporting actors. This venture marks the Tamil debut of Raghavan, Kaif, and music composer Pritam, while it marks the third Hindi film for Sethupathi.
