Merry Christmas OTT Release Date & Time: Here’s When Katrina & Vijay Sethupathi’s Mystery Thriller Will Be Out

Katrina Kaif made the headlines when she collaborated with Vijay Sethupathi and Sriram Raghavan early this year. We are talking about their mystery thriller Merry Christmas which turned out to be the first release of 2024. The movie grabbed the eyeballs for its impressive cast and opened to mixed reviews from the audience.

However, despite the massive buzz in the town, Merry Christmas failed to set the box office on fire. Though fans were in awe of Vijay Sethupathi's performance and his chemistry with Katrina, the movie made a lifetime collection of Rs 18.30 crores as quoted by Bollywood Hungama.

And now, after over a month of its theatrical release, there have been speculations about the OTT release of Merry Christmas. According to a report published in Bollywood Life, Merry Christmas will be releasing on Netflix on March 8 this year. If the reports turned out to be true, Merry Christmas will be out on Netflix at midnight.

To note, Merry Christmas marked Vijay Sethupathi's first collaboration with Katrina. talking about working with the Tiger 3 actress, Vijay Sethupathi told Indian Express, "I never expected I'll work with Katrina Kaif. I'm a very big fan of Katrina. I was very happy when I saw her on the first day and I couldn't express (my happiness). She is a very thoughtful actor. She has so many questions. She thinks a lot. She is very dedicated. She comes up with an idea and she is ready to adapt. Even if she can't accept your thoughts, she will listen to you. She will put in a lot of effort to make a scene better. That's why she is in the industry not only because she is beautiful but also because she is sensible. Just on the basis of beauty you can't survive for so long. There should be sense and understanding. I felt it when I was working with her".
