Mirzapur 3's Isha Talwar On New Project: The much awaited Mirzapur 3, starring Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead had finally premiered last month and it left everyone brimming with an opinion. While the audience felt that the third season of the gangster drama wasn't up to the mark, they were seen lauding some of the performances in the series. Among these was Isha Talwar, whose performance as Madhuri Yadav Tripathi aka Madhuri Bhabhi, was well appreciated and made her the new national crush overnight.

While her character was a game changer in the series, Isha's performance did leave a mark making her the most talked about star from Mirzapur 3. And now, Isha is back in the headlines with her next project which happens to be a big screen debut. Yes! Isha is now venturing into the Punjabi film industry and is looking forward to the release of her film Shahkot opposite renowned Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa.

Who is Isha Talwar

For the uninitiated, model turned actress, Isha made her debut in 2012 with Malayalam film Thattathin Marayathu. Before creating a massive buzz with Mirzapur 3, she was also seen in films like Tubelight, Kaalakaandi, Article 15, Ginny Weds Sunny etc along with series like Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo, Indian Police Force etc.

Talking about the same, Isha told ABP Sanjha, that after a lot of violence on the OTT, she was looking forward to a sweet romantic film which she got with Shahkot. "I was very clear ki agar Punjabi film karungi to family film karungi, OTT pe itna maar dhaad hai. I said achi family film jo meri naani bhi dekh sake meri mummy bhi dekh sake, sab saath baith kar dekh sake. This is a very sweet romantic musical. Kashmir me sundar sundar gaane shoot kiye. Mujhe sweet romantic Punjabi film chahiye," Isha added.

The diva also got candid about her role in the film and stated, "Character bahut interesting hai. Thodi bachkani ladki hai. So wo mere liye explore karna alag aapko kuch dekhne ko milega kyunki maine abhi tak aisa kuch nahi kiya hai".

To note, Shahkot is directed by Rajiv Dhingra and happens to be a Anirudh Mohta production. The film is expected to hit the theatres on October 4.
