Mithya 2 OTT Release EXCLUSIVE! Naveen Kasturia Opens Up On His New Entry In Second Season

Mithya 2 OTT Release Date: ZEE5 is all set to kick-start the month of November with a bang as it will premiere the second season of its popular series Mithya. Titled Mithya: The Darker Chapter, the psychological thriller promises to take the audience on a roller coaster ride filled with drama, suspense, thrill and emotions.

Joining the cast of the show is the supremely talented Naveen Kasturia. The actor, who has wooed the viewers with his performance in TVF Aspirants and Kota Factory, spilled the beans on his role and revealed his entry will create intrigue in the series.

Here are excerpts from the interview.

How do you think your entry in the series adds to audiences' excitement and intrigue?

I think it's really difficult for me to comment on this because I can't completely disassociate myself from the show and view it from an outsider's perspective. I just hope the audience finds it fresh and that my character adds value to the narrative. I hope they enjoy watching how my character contributes to the story, the suspense, and the conflict. I really hope they connect with that."

Given the psychological and emotional intensity of the show, how do you disconnect after shooting such intense scenes?

Well, it's not as if you are in the character all throughout the day. When you are shooting a particular scene you keep getting in and out so it also depends on the role that you are playing. For this role, when I was not playing the part, I was not into that character, I was just trying to create the moments truthfully because I am also exploring while I'm acting so it's not as if I know the atom of the character. I'm also discovering it with the shoot as we progress, I also get to know more about the character. I would not say that I can slot myself in any particular zone, all I can say is that I'm a switch on and switch off kind of actor but there are scenes that might make you focus more but once the scene is done, I think it's very normal for me to come out of asap. You feel relaxed once the part is done. Getting into the character is difficult, getting out is not."
