Exclusive! Mithya Season 2 Actress Avantika Dasani On Being A Star Kid, "Nothing Is Given On A Platter"

Mithya Season 2: In 2022, a series titled Mithya started streaming on Zee5. It starred Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dasani in the lead roles. The show grabbed everyone's attention, and later many people came to know that Avantika is actress Bhagyashree's daughter. While star kids get grand launches even on OTT, Avantika's debut was not much talked about before the release. Once the show started streaming, people praised her performance.

When asked Avantika about making a debut without much fanfare like other star kids, the actress said, "There's this expectations from the audiences and media, but the way the industry works is also very different. It is not that it is given on a platter. There is this idea that it is, but it isn't. For me and my brother (Abhimanyu Dasani) both the idea was that if we want to work in this line and have a career, we should be good at what we do and people should be able to see that. That's the only way you are going to sustain."

"If we can't make it on our own, it is not going to work. So, we were very clear about that what we want to be known for and let our work speak for ourselves. To do a character like Rhea to start my journey was the idea to make people see me as Avantika - the actor, before Avantika - Bhagyashree's daughter," she added.

Mithya Season 2 Release Date

Mithya season 2 started streaming on Zee5 on 1st November, and it is getting a good response. The performances of the actors is being appreciated a lot.
