WHEN & WHERE WILL MUNJYA STREAM ONLINE? DIRECTOR SHARES EXCLUSIVE UPDATE

Munjya has captured the audience's attention with its unique mix of horror, suspense, and comedy, making it a standout film. As excitement grows for its digital release, here's everything you need to know about when and where you can stream it on OTT platforms.

In an exclusive chat with Filmibeat, Munjya director Aditya Sarpotdar talked about the film's OTT premiere in September and shared his excitement about the same. However, the exact date is not yet decided.

Talking about Munjya OTT release, Aditya told us, "Munjya will have its television premiere first and then it'll be releasing on the Disney Plus Hotstar platform. The TV premiere will be on Star Network (Star Gold) and this will be in the last week of August. Immediately after which the film will release, in the next couple of week, on Hostar. So, you can expect the OTT release of Munjya very soon, maybe in a month's time. The film was still in theatres till yesterday so we had a good one month. So now that the film is out of theatres, in the next 3 to 4 weeks, it should make its entry on to the Hotstar OTT platform."

ADITYA SARPOTDAR EXCITED ABOUT MUNJYA OTT RELEASE

Sharing his happiness, he added, "I'm very excited to see how people are going to react and how the film will reach a bigger audience now after its OTT premiere. The film had a great response in the theatres and the audience has been very kind to a film like Munjya which had no big cast and which is a very high-concept film with one-of-its-kind, 3D-CGI protagonist character. So, a film like this is a film that families do watch and that's what my primary audience in theatres also has been. So, I'm sure, even at home, kids, families, and elders would have a great time watching Munjya together on the screens at home."

Munjya is now currently streaming Disney+ Hotstar since August 25.
