Based on the highly-acclaimed crime-thriller novel by Jerry Pinto of the same name, Murder In Mahim is a part murder-thriller, and a part social-drama that throws light on the LGBTQIA+ community, homosexuality, their greed and secret desires.
Inspector Jende (Vijay) and journalist Peter (Ashutosh), who were once friends, join hands together to investigate the gruesome murder case that took place in the toilet, notoriously known for gay prostitution, of Mahim railway station in Mumbai.
Peter tries to reconcile his long-lost friendship with Jende after his son becomes a suspect in the Mahim murder case.
