Murshid OTT Release EXCLUSIVE! Tanuj Virwani On Working With Kay Kay Menon In ZEE5 Web Series

Murshid OTT Release: It's always a pleasure to interact with Tanuj Virwani as he loves speaking about his work and characters. After making waves with Yodha and MTV Splitsvilla 15, the handsome hunk has won hearts with his power-packed performance in Murshid.
The talented actor, who is all set to become a father soon, opened up about his experience working with Kay Kay Menon in Murshid and also shared his thoughts about having a diverse career.
Q- You have had a diverse career in film and television. How does your experience with Murshid compare to your previous work?
At the end of the day, I don't look at my work in isolation. I consider the sum total of all the work I'm doing across film, OTT, and television. At this point in my career, I'm just focused on doing good work. The last couple of years have been quite eclectic, with various shows on OTT platforms as well as I had my first Dharma film, Yodha. I recently appeared in a reality show, and now we've got Murshid. For me, it's not about the number of scenes I'm in, but about the impact those scenes and my storyline have on the larger narrative that's unfolding on screen. That's what keeps things interesting. I love working with good talent, both in front of and behind the camera, because it really helps me bring my A-game and motivates me to go the extra mile. I definitely feel that Murshid fits in really well and will stand tall among my other works. We'll have our answers soon enough-it's out on the 30th of August on ZEE5, so let the audience be the judge, jury, and executioner, as they always are.
Q- How was your experience working with Kay Kay Menon? What did you learn or take back from this experience shooting with him?
One of the best things about working with an actor of Kay Kay sir's caliber is that, while you do prepare-you learn your lines, understand the subtext of the scenes-you don't have to over-prepare. If you're present in the moment, just listening to what he says and reacting authentically, that's half the job done. I truly believe acting is not just about words; it's about the silences and the emotions conveyed between the sentences. The power of stillness is something you learn from the best actors. Even though Kay Kay sir and I had limited scenes together-maybe 4 or 5-they were all amazing. We didn't take too much time; we just read the lines and performed.
