Interestingly, several renowned voice artists have lend their voices for My Oni Girl including Hiirafi Yatsuse as Kensho Ono, Tsumuhi as Miyu Tomita, Ryūji Takahashi as Shintarō Asanuma, Mio Takahashi as Aya Yamane, Naoya Yamashita as Shirō Saitō etc. The anime fantasy film revolves around Hiiragi Yatsuse, a first-year high school student, whose life takes a drastic turn after he encounters Tsumugi, an oni (a demon in Japanese folklore) girl searching for her mother in the human world. My Oni Girl is a story of their unlikely friendship and their mystical journey.

As the trailer of My Oni Girl has managed to create a massive buzz in the town, there have been speculations about the anime film's release date and time. It is reported that My Oni Girl will be releasing on May 24 this year on Netflix. The movie is likely to premiere at around 1:30 PM IST.

Interestingly, the makers recently released a special collaboration music video featuring the film's official theme song titled as Truth in Lies which is performed by musical group ZUTOMAYO
