Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba Ending Explained: After the wait of almost 3 years, Hasseen Dillruba's sequel Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba released on August 9, 2024. The movie is exclusively available to stream on Netflix. Romantic-thriller drama continues the love story of Rani Kashyap and Rishabh Saxena, played by Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey. This time, a new character named Abhimanyu, played by Sunny Kaushal, arrives in their life. The ending of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba left us wondering whether Rishabh and Rani are alive. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba Ending Explained

In Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, we saw Rani meeting Abhimanyu who is smitten by her personality. However, later in the story, it is revealed to Abhimanyu that Rani is actually married to Rishu and they are struggling to start a new life together after the last incident. Abhimanyu promises to help both of them escape. In order to do so, Rani and Abhimanyu marries but Rani parallelly continues her relationship with Rishu. They then follow the story of the book named "Magarmach ka Shikanza" by Dinesh Pandit (Abhimanyu's father).

Towards the end, we saw Rani going to police station and confessing to Montu Chacha that Rishu is alive. She is severely beaten and put in jail. Rani asks one thing from the police, to meet Rishu at a railway bridge. On the day of the meeting of Rani and Rishu, Abhimanyu also arrives in police unform. During the confrontation, all three of them fall in crocodile-filled water. It is shown that only Abhimanyu and Rani remains alive while Rishu is seen being eaten by crocodile. However, that was not the reality.

Rishu escaped the water. This was not noticed by Rani and she went away with Abhimanyu, living a different life on the hills as a teacher. After living together for some time, she encountered Rishu and realized he was alive all the time. One day, Rani asks to meet Abhimanyu at a hill point and called him out for killing Rishu and other people. Making Abhimanyu believe that she is disheartened, Rani falls in the water, making everyone believe she died.

When police arrests Abhimanyu, he realized what has happened to him was actually a plan. He asks Montu Chacha whether he found the body of Rani, both then realized that deceived by Rishu and Rani. They are not dead but actually alive, Rishu managed to escape crocodile-infested water and Rani escaped after walling in river.

In the end, Abhimanyu says, "Agar duniya k saamne jeena hai to marna padega." One mystery remains unsolved- How did Montu know Dinesh Pandit was Abhimanyu's father? Either his father is still alive or Abhimanyu wrote the book by his father's name.
