New OTT Releases This Week: From Mirzapur 3 To Grudan

1) Mirzapur 3

Release Date: 5th July 2024 on Prime Video

After the two super-successful seasons, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi and their Mirzapur gang are set to return with new drama, crime, revenge and 'bhaukaal'. Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi will be reprising their respective iconic roles as 'Guddu Pandit' and 'Kaleen Bhaiya' along with Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar and Sheeba Chadha among others. However, Divyenndu Sharma won't be returning as 'Munna Bhaiya'.

2) Garudan

Release Date: 3rd July 2024 On Amazon Prime Video

Directed and scripted by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar, Garudan is a Tamil action-thriller that is based on a story by Vetrimaaran. Starring Soori, M. Sasikumar, and Unni Mukundan, the film had a theatrical release on May 31, 2024. According to reports, Amazon Prime has secured the film's streaming rights. However, an official announcement from the streaming platform is imminent.

3) Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F

Release Date: 3rd July 2024 On Netflix

Directed by Mark Molly, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F - the fourth installment in the Beverly Hills Cop film series and a sequel to Beverly Hills Cop III (1994) - marks Eddie Murphy's return as the much-loved cop Axel Foley.

4) Malayalee From India

Release Date: 5th July 2024 On SonyLIV

The Malayalam-language comedy-drama revolves around the story of an unemployed young man who is compelled to embark on a journey away from his home, which changes the course of his life. Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, the film stars Nivin Pauly in the lead.

5) Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

Release Date: 4th July 2024 On Book My Show

Starring Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy in the lead, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga - a prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) - marks the fifth installment in the Mad Max franchise. Directed by George Miller, the film was premiered at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.
