OTT Releases This Week: The first month of the year is coming to an end. As we conclude the third week of January 2024, streaming platforms have already released some thrilling and binge-worthy shows and movies.

Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar OTT platforms have some good lineups of shows and films for the entire week. While there are so many options, we have a list of some binge-viewing content for you to make it easy to pick. Let's take a look.

Indian Police Force (19 January)

Rohit Shetty's debut web series, Indian Police Force, is an action thriller series that stars Siddharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Vivek Oberoi in key roles.

The series focuses on the challenging lives of Delhi police officers and how they hunt down terrorists. It will start streaming on Friday, January 19, on Amazon Prime Video.

A Shop for Killers ( January 17)

Starring Kim Hye-jun, Lee Dong-wook, and Ji-Bin Park, A Shop for Killers is an action drama South Korean show about an orphaned young man who is raised by his uncle, who owns a mall. He has to confront a new reality following his uncle's unexpected passing. It is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Sixty Minutes (January 19)

German film Sixty Minutes, helmed by Oliver Kienle, features Emilio Sakraya, Dennis Mojen, and Marie Mouroum in major roles. The film is streaming on Netflix from January 19. The action and sports drama follow an MMA fighter who faces the tough choice of attending his daughter's birthday or losing his match.

Kubra (January 18)

Originally released in 2013, this Turkish thriller series will stream on Netflix starting Friday. It stars Çagatay Ulusoy, Aslihan Malbora, and Ahsen Eroglu.

The show's synopsis reads, "A night before her wedding, Kubra is possessed by a deadly demon. When her childhood friend, Ebru, travels to their eerie hometown to look into the matter, things turn out to worse than expected."

The Marvels (January 16)

The Marvels, directed by Nia DaCosta, is the 33rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Marvels will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar, and it is the continuation of the 2022 miniseries Ms Marvel and the sequel to the 2019 film Captain Marvel. The film focuses on Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, who, after regaining her identity from the Kree, teams up with Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau to save the universe.

American Nightmare (January 17)

This Netflix docu-crime series is based on a real-life incident that centres around the lives of an American couple named Denise and Aaron and the harrowing twists and turns that happen after Aaron gets kidnapped but returns after a few days.

The Bequeathed (January 19)

Its synopsis reads, "In a treat for Korean lovers, Netflix is bringing a South Korean thriller with The Bequeathed. Directed by Min Hong-nam, it revolves around a girl who inherits a burial ground only to get entangled in a web of murders and secrets."

The occult thriller show stars Kim Hyun-joo, Park Hee-soon, and Ryu Kyung-soo and can be streamed on Netflix.

Cristóbal Balenciaga (January 19)

The Spanish biopic stars Alberto San Juan, Belén Cuesta, and Gemma Whelan. It revolves around designer Cristóbal Balenciaga, known for dressing Spain's elite, launching her first high fashion collection in Paris after working successfully in Madrid and San Sebastián in 1937. It is streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
