OTT Releases This Week: OTT platforms have revolutionised the way people experience movies, offering the convenience of watching favourite content from the comfort of home. With several streaming platforms, including Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Prime Video, Sony Liv, and many others, there's plenty of movies and series across various genres.

For all the content enthusiasts, here are some binge-worthy shows and films that must be on your wishlist for the next seven days.

Killer Soup (January 11)

Abhishek Chaubey directorial, Killer Soup is a black comedy crime thriller series about a talentless home chef, Swati Shetty, who devises a clever plan with her lover Umesh to replace her husband, Prabhakar. The plans go awry, leading to turmoil and chaos. The show stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Manoj Bajpayee, Nassar and others in key roles.

The Kerala Story (January 12/19)

One of the biggest hits of 2023, The Kerala Story, was surrounded by massive controversies. However, the film received lots of love from the audience and turned out to be the highest grosser of the year. Starring Adah Sharma in the lead, the film revolves around four Hindu women who are coerced by extremist Muslims to join the Islamic State. The film has a deal with Zee 5 and is expected to release on January 12 or January 19.

Criminal Record (January 10)

Helmed by Paul Rutman, this Apple TV+ British crime thriller show Criminal Record follows the dynamic between two detectives. One is a novice while the other is a seasoned detective, and the plot unfolds when an anonymous call tangles them in a complex investigation. The show stars Peter Capaldi, Cush Jumbo, Dionne Brown, and others in important roles.

Echo (January 10)

The action miniseries Echo is the tenth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar today, the show's synopsis reads, "Maya Lopez's ruthless behaviour in New York City catches up with her in her hometown; she must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community." The show has been created by Marion Dayre.

Killers of the Flower Moon (January 12)

Directed by Martin Scorsese, Killers of the Flower Moon stars Leonardo di Caprio and Lily Gladstone in lead roles. The film is an American Western crime drama set in 1920s Oklahoma and explores the murders of the Osage Nation following the discovery of oil on their land. It is based on the 2017 non-fiction book by David Grann and is currently on rent on Apple TV+.

Mission Impossible 7 (January 11)

Starring Tom Cruise, Mission: Impossible-Dead Reckoning Part One is an American spy action movie about Ethan Hunt and his IMF team, who are on a mission to hunt a new enemy who poses a grave threat to humanity. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, MI7 can be streamed on Prime Video.

The Legend of Human Season 3 (January 12)

The legend of Hanuman revolves around the story of Lord Hanuman and how he became the symbol of hope amid the darkness. It will stream on Disney + Hotstar.
