Exclusive! Panchayat 3 Actress Neena Gupta Says, "I Have Seen Young Actors Ask Questions And Argue"

Panchayat 3: Neena Gupta is undoubtedly one of the most talented actresses we have in the industry. The actress has done TV, films, and now, she is also leaving a strong mark on OTT. Her performance in recently released Panchayat season 3 is also being loved by one and all. Apart from being an actress Neena Gupta is also a director, and has helmed shows like Saans, Pal Chhin, Siski, and others.

Filmibeat recently interacted with Neena Gupta, and when asked her that as she has been a director, so if she gives any inputs in a project like Panchayat if she doesn't like something, the veteran actress said, "This is a very interesting question, and even my answer will be interesting (laughs). Earlier, when I used to work with Shyam Benegal and other directors, when I was new, I used to be scared to tell them that I have something in my mind. We didn't have courage to ask anything."

Neena Gupta Says Young Actors Argue

"Nowadays, I have seen young actors ask questions and argue. It is important to ask like if there's a line I am not understanding or if I feel that something else should be done, so now, I have a confidence that I tell the director, 'sir aisa karo toh chalega?'. But, if the director says 'no', then I do it the way he wants. So, Deepak has no problem if I have a doubt or if I want to say a dialogue in a certain way. If he feels its right, he let's me do it," she added.
