Rajpal Yadav EXCLUSIVE Interview On Kaam Chalu Hai, How His Character Influenced Him & More

Kaam Chalu Hai OTT Release: Rajpal Yadav, in an exclusive interview with Filmibeat, opened up about his new film. From revealing how his character influenced him to sharing his work experience with Palaash, the veteran actor spilled the beans on different aspects.

1. You worked with Palaash in Ardh and now in Kaam Chalu Hai. Tell us about your working equation with your director and how it contributed to shaping your character in the film?

One admirable quality about Palaash is his keen sense of music. When it comes to direction, he consistently opts for uniqueness, defying conventional norms to present something distinct and refreshing. That's what I appreciate about him. Alongside the film's narrative, he comprehends its creative aspects, ensuring the film isn't merely produced for the sake of it; it carries both meaning and entertainment. Although this film is rooted in real-life experiences, ultimately, it's a portrayal on the reel. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the entire team because through their efforts, I've had the opportunity to portray such an interesting role and become an integral part of this film.

2. Looking back, how has playing this character influenced or shaped your perspective in life?

Whenever I engage in entertainment, I find that a character that has always motivated me in some way or another. This film, in particular, has been a real eye-opener. After watching it, everyone is going to love this film. Every family member will feel motivated, and I hope that through this film, we can spread awareness too. Furthermore, if someone ever encounters potholes nearby, I hope they stay safe. Whether on the road or in life, if anyone comes across a pothole, I hope we can all work together to fix them so that no one else has to endure what my character went through in the film.

3. What impact do you hope your character's arc will have on viewers, particularly in terms of raising awareness on road safety and potholes? How can one be more cautious?

Every other day, there's news about one or the other tragic incident. Wherever you go and whatever you do, please prioritize safety and prevent accidents on roads caused by potholes. Potholes may seem small, but they pose a significant risk. To avoid accidents, I hope everyone will be cautious and take safety measures. Let's all start filling potholes in India, just like my character Manoj did, to ensure that no one else suffers like he did.
