Showtime Part 2 Twitter review: The wait is finally over. Disney+Hotstar has released the remaining episodes of its popular series Showtime on Friday (July 12) at 12am. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the part two of the drama series ever since the first four episodes premiered on the streaming platform.

SHOWTIME CAST, OTT RELEASE DATE AND PLATFORM

Showtime, which is set against the backdrop of Bollywood, focuses on the world of filmmaking, and how production houses operate. The series showcased the power struggles and behind-the-scenes of the glitz and glamour of the industry.

Mahima Makwana plays the role of Mahika Nandy while Emraan Hashmi is seen as Raghu Khanna. The likes of Mouni Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, Vishal Vashishtha played key roles in Showtime.

While the first four episodes premiered in March 2024, the remaining three episodes were made available for viewing from Friday (July 12).

The episodes released around midnight on Hotstar, following which the viewers watched the show and shared their opinion on social media. Emraan Hashmi once again stole the limelight as maximum tweets praised him for his impressive performance.

One user named Praneet Samaiya tweeted, "Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, & Mahima Makwana dazzle in a riveting Bollywood drama that delves into the industry's dark sides (sic)."

"Emraan delivered a honest performance, wooing us with his acting prowess. He is the star of the show while Mahima also performed her scenes well," another user said.

Showtime has been produced by Dharmatic Entertainment. Several actors including Mrunal Thakur, Neha Dhupai, Janhvi Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan made a cameo in the series. Viewers can watch Showtime in full HD format on Disney+Hotstar and even download the episodes if they have a subscription.
