Prime Video has bought the exclusive digital rights of Stree 2 by paying a whopping amount. The OTT platform has planned to premiere the film as parts of its festive season line-up.

An industry source earlier exclusively told Filmibeat, "Stree 2 will be the biggest digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Considering the eight-week window, the horror comedy is expected to premiere either in the third week of October or first week of November. Amazon Prime Video wants to release the film online during the festive season as it wants to have a solid line-up during Diwali 2024. The executives wants to encash on the festive trends by giving blockbuster entertainment to the audience and what better than Stree 2. The streaming platform has purchased the rights for the movie for a whopping amount."
