Striking The Palace OTT Release In India: The anticipation and viewership for international films in India has grown manifold after 2020. People who have embraced films made in parts of the world other than Hollywood have become admirers of global entertainment. This phenomenon caused the number of digital streaming platforms or over-the-top (OTT) to mushroom. One such is a 2022 launched streaming platform called Vrott. This Ott aims to bring international films to India and several other languages.

Striking The Palace is a French film of the comedy genre that is going to be making its Indian debut on the new OTT platform Vrott. The movie titled Petites Mains in French was directed by Nessim Chikhaoui and produced by Albertine Productions in association with Prima Vista Films. The movie was originally released on May 1, 2024. After about two months, the movie is making its OTT debut in India.

The movie attempts to showcase the lives of the employees, especially women with poor working conditions who work hard to keep up the high standards of the luxurious hotels but go unnoticed for their contribution.

Striking The Palace Premise

Eva(Lucie Charles-Alfred) lives in Paris at a hotel for foster care alumni and secures a job at the famous Palace Hotel. Her job is temporary and was taken as a replacement for a chambermaid. She gradually settles in and forms a thick bond with the housekeeping team consisting of Safietou, Violette, Aissata, and Simone. How these young women navigate through their respective lives and the social challenges fighting for dignity forms the crux of Striking The Palace.
