Exclusive! Bhuvan Bam On 'YouTubers Can't Be Actors' Debate, "You Can't Compare Cinema With YouTube"

Bhuvan Bam is one of the most famous YouTubers. But, with his OTT series Taaza Khabar, he has left a strong mark as an actor as well. A few days ago, Taaza Khabar season 2 was premiered on Disney+ Hotstar, and it received a fantastic response. Well, Bhuvan started his career with YouTube where he used to make funny videos, and he also started his own chat show titled Titu Talks where many celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Johnny Sins, SS Rajamouli, and others came.

While there are many YouTubers like Bhuvan Bam, Kusha Kapila, Prajakta Koli, making a mark as actors, people still on social media debate and say that YouTubers can't be actors. Filmibeat recently interacted with Bhuvan and spoke to him about it.

When asked Bhuvan about 'YouTubers can't be actors' debate, he said, "We need to change that. Their thinking is not wrong. How can you compare 100 years of cinema with 15 years of YouTube? You can't compare both, there's still time for us (YouTubers) to reach there. For us to get recognised as actors, it is a long journey."

"There's a lot of difference in short form and long form. In long format, it is not just 6 minutes that you have to be Vasant Gawde; for 60 days and 12 hours you need to be that character. There has to be a uniformity; that uniformity is acting, and that will come with time, and will be better. We can do it, but even they are not wrong. They are correct and they are saying with their experience," the actor added.

Bhuvan Bam On Taaza Khabar Season 2

When asked Bhuvan is he expected such an amazing response to Taaza Khabar season 2, Bhuvan said, "Season 1 was liked by people, but we had a doubt whether they will watch season 2 or not. Whoever has watched season 1 will come and watch season 2, but is season 2 that entertaining? Is it that engaging? Is season 2 better ot equal to season 1? I had all these doubts and never thought that people will end up watching this and how."

Well, Bhuvan has impressed one and all with his performance as Vasant Gawde, and now, his fans are eagerly waiting for his other upcoming projects.
