The First Omen OTT Release: If you are a fan of horror films, then Disney Plus Hotstar is coming up with a special treat for you. We are talking about the release of The First Omen. Starring Nell Tiger Free, Tawfeek Barhom, Sônia Braga, Ralph Ineson, and Bill Nighy in the lead, the movie is directed by Arkasha Stevenson and happens to be the prequel to the 1976 release The Omen. Interestingly, The First Omen is the sixth film in The Omen franchise

The First Omen had hit the theatres on April 5 this year and opened to rave reviews from the audience. In fact, it also fared well at the box office managed to mint over $53 million worldwide. Given the box office success of The First Omen, there have been speculations about the movie's digital release. And looks like the wait is over as this much talked about horror drama.

The First Omen Release Time On Disney Plus Hotstar

It is reported that The First Omen will be releasing on Disney Plus Hotstar on May 30, 2024. It is reported that the movie will premiere at around midnight (12 am) IST on Disney Plus Hotstar tonight. To note, The First Omen revolves around an American women who was sent to work at a church in Rome wherein she exposes a terrifying conspiracy for the birth of the Antichrist.

Talking about The First Omen, director Arkasha Stevenson stated, "I think something that was really important to us was to make it feel like we're in the 1970s. A big hope dream of mine was that maybe if somebody watched this in a double feature with the 1976 Omen, that maybe they would think our film was filmed in the same era. So aesthetically, really trying to couch it within that aesthetic. Then also, we got to shoot in Italy and we got to shoot in Rome. I think everybody, no matter what they do in Italy, is just an artist. It's just in their blood. And so even the extras brought so much passion to what they were doing in the scenes"
