The Kerala Story Release Time: Here’s When Adah Sharma’s Film Will Be Releasing On OTT Tomorrow

Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Sudipto Sen's much talked about movie The Kerala Story has been one of the most talked about movies released in 2023. Starring Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani in the led, The Kerala Story reportedly narrated the story of a group of women from Kerala who are coerced into converting to Islam and joining the Islamic State. The movie sparked a debate and left everyone brimming with an opinion. In fact, it even faced a lot of protests especially in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal post release.

The Kerala Story OTT Release Time

And while it has been almost a year of the theatrical release of The Kerala Story, the movie is finally set to release on OTT platform. To note, The Kerala Story will be releasing on Zee5 on February 15. While there have been a lot of speculations about the release time of this much talked about movie, The Kerala Story will be releasing at midnight tonight.

Talking about the film, Adah had earlier stated, "Even for me, it was different because for the first time, I was doing a true-life story, playing a person, Shalini Unnikrishnan aka Fatima Ba, who has actually been through all the horrors and terrors I re-live on screen. I did meet some very brave girls who are giving interviews about their ordeal. Of course, not the girl I play in the film because Shalini is still in a jail in Afghanistan. I thought the testimonial in Malayalam, of the mother whose daughter had hanged herself, was really touching at the end of the film"

Interestingly, The Kerala Story received a decent response at the box office and made a lifetime collection of Rs 241.74 crores including Rs 239.05 crores in Hindi and Rs 2.69 crores in Telugu.
